Anouk Ride is a Research Fellow at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.
Dr Ride conducts cross-disciplinary research on peace and conflict and environmental issues in Solomon Islands and throughout the Pacific Island region.
She has published more than 50 works and has provided expert commentary at international forums and in the media in the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States and the Pacific Island region.
Her PhD research on conflict, communication and participatory research methods earned her the 2014 Dean’s Award for Outstanding Research Higher Degree Theses at the University of Queensland.
Her international experience also includes working at the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, ABC International, Save the Children, Oxfam, the United Nations Development Programme, the World Bank, WorldFish and government departments in Australia and the Pacific.
