Dr Bjorn Sturmberg is a Senior Lecturer at the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics and a Research Leader in the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program.

Dr Sturmberg’s research focuses on the integration and clean technologies – including electric vehicles and buses, solar and batteries – with the electricity system. He considers these interactions from technical, economic as well as social dimensions to create holistic solutions that accelerate the decarbonisation and steer it towards a fairer future.

He currently leads projects on microgrids, electric vehicles, electric buses, stand alone power systems, sustainable finance, and energy and transport policy.
