Dr Florence Danila is a Research Fellow at the ANU Research School of Biology.
Florence is a member of the C4 Rice Project and has expertise in research areas including C4 photosynthesis, imaging plant cell biology, plasmodesmata, molecular biology and plant physiology.
Most of Florence’s publications are featured in media releases via the former ARC Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis.
She was interviewed by ABC News in 2020 about the impact of the hail storm damage to the plant facility and research at ANU. Her research was featured in Microscopy Australia’s 2021 Research Highlights and The Western Producer.
Florence is originally from the Philippines and has permanent residency in Australia.
