Professor Jane Golley is based at the Crawford School of Public Policy and is a Founding Fellow of the Australian Centre on China in the World.
Jane is an economist specialising in the Chinese economy. Her interdisciplinary research has covered China’s economic geography and regional development, demographic change and economic growth (in a global context), income and educational inequalities, the geoeconomics of the university sector and the nexus between political relations and trade.
Jane is actively involved in public debates about the Australia-China relationship, with substantial media experience, including live TV and radio appearances and online commentary.
