Jessica Sharmin Rahman is a CERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian e-Health Research Centre under the CSIRO Health and Biosecurity Unit.

Jessica received her B.Sc. (Hons) degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Then she completed her PhD in the Human Centre Computing (HCC) group of the School of Computing at ANU. She also worked as an academic tutor at ANU.

Jessica’s research interests include affective computing, medical computing, emotion recognition, brain informatics and physiological signal analysis. Her talk on her PhD thesis won the people’s choice award in the ANU 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition in 2020. She currently serves as a representative in CSIRO Health and Biosecurity Early to Mid-Career Researcher Committee.
