Dr Joanne Bennett

Joanne Bennett is an ecologist at the Fenner School of Environment and Society in the ANU College of Science.
Her work aims to understand how climate and land-use change influence species distributions, and the subsequent impacts on species interactions that are vital for ecosystem functions such as pollination. She also has an interest in how thermal tolerance determines species vulnerability to climate change.
Dr Bennett is currently a ARC DECRA Fellow and is leading a project on long-term changes in pollinator communities and how declines in pollinators impact plant reproduction through altered plant-animal interactions.
