Professor Leonie Quinn co-Heads the Division of Genome Science and Cancer and Heads the Cancer Models Laboratory in the John Curtin School of Medical Research.
Professor Quinn established and heads the Canberra Brain Cancer Collaborative with clinicians from The Canberra Hospital. Her current research involves generating genetic models using the vinegar fly (Drosophila Melanogaster) to understand the initiation and progression of human cancer.
She also convenes “The Hallmarks of Cancer”, a third-year course at ANU.
