Dr Mark Hoggard is a DECRA research fellow at the ANU Research School of Earth Sciences.

Mark is an observational geodynamicist working on problems relating to the structure and long-term behaviour of Earth and its tectonic plates. His research includes studies of mantle convection, ore deposit genesis, critical minerals, sea level, glacial isostatic adjustment, energy, groundwater, and climate change.

He has previously worked at the University of Cambridge (UK) and Harvard and Columbia Universities (USA).
