Professor Peter Kanowski is Professor of Forestry in the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society, and Master of University House.
Peter has extensive experience in forest policy and governance in the Asia-Pacific region, nationally around Australia, and in the ACT. He has long-standing involvement in community and public policy decisions processes about forests, in addressing forest conflict, and in forest governance.
He was a member of the COAG National Bushfire Inquiry, the 2011 Australia State of Environment Committee, and the Jury and Board of the National Arboretum Canberra.
