Rachel Taylor is a PhD candidate at the ANU College of Science.
Ms Taylor has previously worked in heatwave research and as a climate change adaptation consultant in Sydney.
She is about to submit her doctoral thesis which investigates the relationships between large-scale climate drivers and extreme fire seasons. Her ‘piece de resistance’ is a statistical model for predicting the probability of extreme Fire Behaviour Index from climate driver activity.
